Alright, we know that most everybody that visits Hannibal comes for one simple reason... to visit the boyhood home of its most famous citizen… Mark Twain. We certainly understand why they are interested. This little river town known affectionately as "America’s Hometown" is the back-drop for several of his most famous writings.  Growing up near here in Philadelphia, MO, most of us at the Spratt Family Theater have taken that for granted, and sometimes, honestly, we’re a little amazed at the response that people from all over the world have when they visit Hannibal. However, we’re grateful for the opportunity to share our gifts in the place that he made famous. We know that if not for his life and writings we most likely wouldn’t be enjoying performing for so many wonderful people that visit our show. So, thanks Mr. Clemens for continuing to bring so many new faces to your boyhood home and in turn to our little dinner theater. We hope that we would make you and this great community proud.
