 The Nelsonville Assembly Gospel Choir is an outreach of the Nelsonville Assembly of God Church in Nelsonville, MO and is under the direction of Travis Spratt. Nelsonville is a very small community with two churches and several homes. The church is pastored by Manuel and Jane Shoults, who commute weekly from Springfield, MO. Brother and Sister Shoults have served throughout the world through missions and in various churches as pastors. Although the community is small, the church is a thriving, missions and ministry oriented church of 80 to 100 people. Over the past five years the dedicated group of vocalists, made up from the congregation, has shared their God-given gift of music with churches, at County Fairs, and for other venues. They also minister most every Sunday at the Nelsonville Assembly of God Church. Their weekly musical selections, Christmas, and Easter presentations are truly musical celebrations with the heart and desire to lift up the Lord Jesus Christ! The choir has been and Lord willing, will continue to be a frequent guest at the Spratt Family Theater. |
